About Nancy and Allan Kueny
Nancy
Hayford Kueny is in her 17th year of listing, selling and renting real
estate in Greater Boston. Although based in the Waterfront/North End
neighborhood, she also specializes in Charlestown where she has lived
for over 30 years, as well as the Seaport District, the South End, and
Back Bay and Beacon Hill. Nancy’s background and education are in art
and design, and she holds a B.F.A. from Massachusetts College of Art. Her career in real
estate is an offshoot of her art background, her love of the abundant
historic buildings located in Boston, and her interest in interior
space. She is pleased to be part of the state of the art Gibson
Waterfront Sotheby's International Realty offices
located at 220 Commercial Street in the Howe and Bainbridge Building, a
converted sail makers loft just steps from Boston Harbor. Prior To
Gibson Waterfront Sotheby's International Realty, Nancy worked at Boston
Waterfront Realty, Coldwell Banker and RE/MAX Waterfront.
Allan Kueny is also in his 17th year of real estate. Allan sells real
estate throughout Greater Boston, but his specialty is the marketing of
historic property in Charlestown. He came to real estate following a
successful career in restoration contracting and development, and has
received three Preservation Awards from the Charlestown Preservation
Society. Allan has restored over 25 historic building in Charlestown,
and his knowledge of historic homes is a great asset in marketing
Charlestown property. Allan also founded Designers 3, a contemporary
jewelry manufacturing company that closed in 1978. Allan attended Boston
University majoring in advertising and public relations. Prior to
working at Gibson Waterfront Sotheby's International Realty, Allan
worked for Century 21, Coldwell Banker and RE/MAX. He and partner Nancy
frequently work together as a team, particularly Charlestown.
Allan and Nancy currently live in Charlestown in a Federal house located
on the Training Field. Nancy has been active in the community as a past
president and trustee of the Charlestown Preservation Society, and both
Allan and Nancy continue their support of historic preservation. Their
relaxation interests include skiing, boating, tennis and travel.
